In 2016 at the Regal Beagle in Vancouver BC, Trevlon happened to pass by Kinglsey.Trevlon had a feeling he had to meet this gentleman so he introduced himself. They sat down together and chatted. Kinglsey had just made the move out from Ontario. They got together over a drink and played some music. Leaving on Lies was later to be found recorded on Trevlon's phone. Trevlon had some songs he had written so they decided to work together on them. At the time Trevlon had just turned 40 when the recording started. Trevlon is now 41, hence the April 41st album title.
